WISE Serbia, the network of women in sustainable energy, green economy, and climate action, has launched its first mentoring program aimed at supporting young women in the early stages of their careers, with the support of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). The program offers an opportunity to gain new skills, expand professional networks, and learn from experienced mentors, lasting for six months. At the first meeting, held in Belgrade, the training for mentors was led by Nataša Vukmirović, a professional mentoring coach. Among the mentors is our director, Ankica Barbulov, who, with her experience and dedication, contributes to the development of young leaders in the field of energy efficiency.
Through this mentoring program, Ankica Barbulov provides invaluable support to young women, helping them develop their professional skills, gain practical knowledge, and build a network of useful contacts. Her role as a mentor allows the participants to explore their potential in the sustainable energy sector and recognize their role in shaping the energy future. This mentoring program is an excellent opportunity for all young women who want to advance their careers in energy efficiency and climate change sectors, and with Ankica Barbulov’s involvement, a strong and motivated generation of future leaders is being created.
